Android app: Gmail notifier

I used to use an app called Gmail notifier to give me notifications of new e-mails. One of the reasons I liked it over the standard Gmail notification is that you can also set a time period when the notification sound will not ring in case of a new e-mail, so I can turn it off automatically at night time when I should be sleeping. However, it no longer works for Android 4.0, so I had to find a new solution.

I am currently using Gmail Label Notifier+ Widgets:

Allows you to define the color of the notification icon
Comes with a widget which can show the unread e-mail count on your home screen (again with user selected color for the icon)
Does not automatically clear notifier in case I’ve read the new e-mail without selecting Gmail from the notification dropdown.
The notification does not provide any information about the new mail, such as who sent it and the subject.
Supporting multiple inboxes for home screen widget can either be done through multiple widgets or a combined widget which I don’t find aesthetically pleasing. Would be nicer if it can just show multiple unread counts with a single icon.
