In order to stay organized (or attempt to), I need a to do list which helps me accomplish that. So far, my preference has been Any.do:
Image from Lifehacker
Multi-platform (Android, web)
Past due to do’s are automatically part of today’s tasks (not requiring a separate view) to see them
1-row widget allows me to see what to do’s are due today on the primary home screen
Multi-row widget allows me to get an overview of all to do’s
Clean interface
Categorization of to do’s
Ability to set reminder notification
Ability to automatically add missed calls, etc, to your to do list
No support for nested to do’s
Does not show to do’s in any type of priority except grouping to do’s by today, tomorrow, this week, and later.
No support for annual recurring tasks
Web interface does not support recurring tasks
Cannot use for history of completed tasks as this would impact performance on Android
No support for multiple levels of priority (priority 1, 2, 3…)
Does not adhere to Android’s latest UI standardization
Bugs:
Web interface interface when in separate window does not allow ability to go back to main list from detailed task information view
Notifications are automatically set (for those tasks where notifications are turned off) when updating the task
Delete tasks does not seem to work from Android version, must use web interface to clear out
